Screenwriter Kelly Fremon and Spec producer Moe El Emam take a break during filming with Kelly, noting that one of the great percs of arriving as a screen writer is a good parking space on the studio lot. Kelly is now awaiting the August premier of the Fox Searchlight comedy, "Post Grad," Kelly's first produced feature, based on her spec script, her first attempt at the form.
...began writing for publication as a high school reporter for the Burlington Free Press, which led to later work with newspapers in Rutland, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and later Los Angeles. Living in Hollywood, it was a natural transition into screenwriting. As a writer and producer, he has developed screenplays for every major Hollywood studio and television network. He has written numerous episodes for network television and his 2000 nominated episode of CBS’ Family Law was the Environmental Media Awards winner. This is one of a number of awards he has won as screenwriter and documentary filmmaker. His produced writing credits also include a half dozen made-for-TV movies. Over recent years, Edmond has shifted his focus to prose writing and creating video projects for non-profit organizations. Cold weather sports still figure significantly into his life as a skier, ice climber, and high altitude mountaineer, with a number of important ascents in his portfolio.
